The American device-box family
The common 4" square box, single- and double-gang device boxes and their covers, in the pattern US-standard switches, sockets and devices are built to fit, with knockouts placed for conduit entry.

Pressed and welded steel, pre-galvanized or painted, so the box stands up to the conduit and cabling terminating into it in commercial and industrial fit-out.

American standard steel boxes are the pressed and welded metal boxes that house switches, sockets and cable joints and terminate conduit on US-pattern installations. The family centres on the familiar 4" square box, used as an outlet, junction and pull box, together with single- and double-gang device boxes for switches and receptacles. Knockouts around the box let the installer open just the conduit entries the job needs.
We supply the boxes in the common patterns and depths, pre-galvanized or painted, with the covers and mounting features to suit, and alongside the conduit and cable tray they connect to. Box pattern, depth, knockout layout, finish and any product-specific certification are confirmed with you per order and per destination market.
