Why Cable Tray Master

A manufacturer you can buy direct from, and audit

Cable Tray Master is a cable tray manufacturer and exporter under one owner. We make the tray on our own line in China and ship it with our own export team, so the price is factory-direct, the specification is made to order, and buyers are welcome to visit and audit the plant.

Full mechanical protection

The solid steel body encloses cables completely, shielding them from dust, moisture and impacts in exposed, dusty or damp areas where an open tray would leave them vulnerable.

Closed, protected body

Easy access when you need it

The cover lifts off along the whole length, so cables are laid straight in rather than pulled through, and can be added or changed later without disturbing the run.

Removable cover

Clean finished appearance

A neat, enclosed duct for exposed wall runs, risers and switchrooms, powder-coated to a project colour where the look matters.

Pre-galv / HDG / powder-coat

What the CTM-TK is, and who it is for

Cable trunking is the closed member of the family: a solid steel duct with a removable cover that fully encloses the cables inside. Where a perforated or mesh tray leaves cabling open, trunking shuts it away, protecting it from dust, moisture and knocks, and giving exposed runs a clean, finished appearance. That makes it the right choice for plant rooms, electrical risers, switchrooms and any wall-mounted run where cabling is on show or needs mechanical protection.

The cover is what makes trunking practical. It lifts off, by snap-fit or a few bolts, so an installer can lay cables in along the whole length rather than pulling them through, and can come back later to add or change a cable without disturbing the run. When the cover is back on, the cabling is protected and out of sight.

We make trunking in our own factory, in widths from 50 to 300 mm and pre-galvanized, hot-dip galvanized or powder-coated finishes, so it matches the environment and, where wanted, a project colour scheme. It ships with the bends, tees, end caps and covers to complete a tidy, protected route.

How it works

1

When to enclose the cables

Open trays are ideal where cooling and access matter, but there are runs where the cabling needs to be shut away: exposed wall runs in a workshop where it could be knocked, dusty or damp plant rooms, switchrooms where a clean look matters, or any place a solid duct is specified for mechanical protection. Trunking answers all of these. The solid body keeps dust, moisture and impacts out, and the run looks finished rather than exposed.

2

Why the removable cover matters

A trunking cover is not just a lid. Because it lifts off along the whole length, cables are laid straight into the base instead of being pulled through a conduit, which is far faster on a long run and much easier when the cables are large. Later, when a cable is added or replaced, the cover comes off again for access and clips back on. That combination of full protection and easy access is what sets trunking apart from a sealed conduit.

Where it fits on the job

Steel cable trunking, a solid duct with a removable cover

Enclosed, protected routing

The solid steel body shuts cables away from dust, moisture and knocks on exposed wall runs, risers and switchrooms, while the removable cover lifts off for access.

Assembled cable trunking run with bends, tees and covers

Bends, tees and covers to match

Straight trunking plus matched bends, tees, end caps and covers, so the whole route is enclosed and finished from one system.

Frequently Asked Questions

When should I use trunking instead of a tray?
Use trunking where the cabling needs to be enclosed and protected, exposed wall runs, dusty or damp plant rooms, switchrooms and any run that needs mechanical protection or a clean finished look. Use an open perforated, ladder or mesh tray where cooling and easy access matter more than enclosure.
Is the cover removable?
Yes. The cover lifts off, by snap-fit or a few bolts, so cables are laid straight into the base along the whole length and can be added or changed later without pulling the whole run. It clips back on to protect and hide the cabling.
What finishes are available?
Pre-galvanized for dry indoor runs, hot-dip galvanized for damp or outdoor sections, and powder-coated in a project colour on request. We help you choose for the setting.
What widths and heights do you make?
Widths run from 50 to 300 mm with heights from 50 to 150 mm, and sheet thickness set per order, usually 1.0 to 2.0 mm. Send us your requirement and we confirm the section.
Do you supply bends and fittings?
Yes. Bends, tees, end caps and covers are supplied to match the trunking, so the whole route is a tidy, protected system.
Can we visit the factory?
Yes. We are a manufacturer and exporter under one owner, so buyers are welcome to visit and audit the plant before ordering.
